Computer & Server Support

We provide on-site support where required and remote support 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday from our Essex based helpdesk, utilising phone, email and remote desktop facilities.

98% of the support issues we handle are resolved remotely** meaning minimal delays where your business experiences issues.

We guarantee a next business day response for on-site support and a maximum 1 hour response on all phone and email support requests. Our guarantee is a maximum 1 hour response but our average response time is less than 15 minutes.

We can also provide out of hours support at an additional cost.


At First Stop IT we are a proactive business partner; we monitor your IT infrastructure 24/7 using industry leading remote monitoring and management software. We monitor your computers (PCs, Macs & Laptops), network & server performance, internet connectivity, security and all critical services & processes including data backups.

Where we find problems we will assess the issues and provide solutions as quickly as possible.

Because we are a small company, our support engineers deliver a personal service tailored to your specific IT setup and can provide solutions quickly.

Patching and Maintenance

Included in our unlimited contract is a thorough maintenance service. We ensure your PCs, servers, routers, firewall and wireless networks are kept up-to-date with the latest firmware updates as agreed with your business, ensuring a high level of security.

We perform operating system, security and antivirus updates as required and ensure any 3rd party software is up-to-date at all times where possible. We are also happy to liaise with 3rd party software support so you don’t have to; making us the only number you need to call for IT issues

Network Management and Administration Tasks

Our experienced network administrators will handle all of your day to day admin tasks such as management of users and groups, email addresses and distribution groups.

We ensure your permissions and security settings are correct keeping your data secure.
If you have a member of staff starting or leaving your business, just let us know and we will ensure they are setup and ready to start working from the moment they arrive.

We also manage folder and printer shares, system and network configuration and monitor your email databases and services where applicable.
